Hello there!
As you can see, I have certainly enjoyed some time away-on the beach! There was a small part of me that really missed writing and…even while on vacation, a true teacher is always thinking about possible lessons-so here I am!
This picture started getting me thinking about ways to incorporate the beach into speech lessons. Here I am, sitting in a huge conch while beating (yes, beating) my husband at putt-putt.
Now, if I can sit on a shell, I can definitely put some speech words on shells! Here is a worksheet I made up on /l/ blends. Please print them off and use them! To make it even more fun, grab a bucket of shells at the discount store, tape target skills or sounds onto them, and then have a fun scavenger hunt around the room looking for shells!
