No Print Expressive and Receptive Language Packs!

March 4, 2013

Hello there!
Well, I am so excited to finally share this with you! Prepare to make your life a little easier :-). I received so much lovely feedback from you on my No-Print Grammar Jeopardy, that it got me thinking… Being a busy speech therapist myself, I understand our time is valuable. I love every single one of the TPT purchases I have made but my pile of laminating has become out of control! All of those beautiful little cards just stare at me from a pile of unfinished work. They long to join in the fun and actually be used for therapy but I have set them aside for a time when they can finally be beautified (aka laminated).
I started thinking…I need to make more no-fuss materials! Enter : No Print Receptive and Expressive Language Packs.  These huge language packs can be used immediately upon purchasing. The best part? You can use them on your iPad!
How do you use these packs? Simply download and save to your computer. If you want, email it to your iPad or save in a cloud program such as Dropbox. Open it and begin right away!

Let’s start with the No Print Expressive Language Pack. In this whopping 229 page download, you receive:
*25 Antonym cards
*25 Synonym cards
*25 Multiple Meaning cards
*25 Asking Questions cards
*25 Giving Directions cards
*25 Sequencing cards
*25 Explaining cards
*25 Describing cards
*25 Compare and Contrast cards
Simply open the download and you will see this “Home” screen. Click on the deck you want to work on.
On each card, you will see a “Next” button (to go on to the next card) and a “Home” button to go back to the main screen. The last card in each deck does not contain a “Next” button. I was wishing there was a way to mix the cards up but after I started using them with my students, I realized that it makes it much easier with the cards in the same order!

Watch out-There are a few “Bummer” cards throughout!! I keep a post-it note next to me to keep score or have the students keep track of their own points.

Okay, now onto the No Print Receptive Language Pack.

This pack contains 157 pages (smaller in page number but this pack contains a ton of info-main idea cards took quite some time to create!) In it, you receive:
*27 WH Question cards
*25 Inferencing cards
*25 Main Idea cards
*25 Following Directions cards
*26 Naming cards
*25 Predicting cards

How much is your time worth? I so want to make your life a little easier! You can find both of these products in my TPT store and Teacher’s Notebook store.

My kids love using the iPad and I hate cutting lamination, so this is a win win for everyone!

Wow! I am sooo excited about this! What a timely creation! No more color printing at work and laminating is limited too. This could be the solution I need to still address goal areas while keeping things fun and fresh for my students. I hope to win and try this out with my caseload – so many of my students’ goals could be addressed using either pack! Thank you!

I really like this idea. The laminating has gotten a bit out of control for me too. I’m trying to build my professional library as a second year grad student because I know my CFY is going to be nuts…but I have school work to do. Too much to do, not enough time. This would be a super bonus to add to my repertoire. 🙂

I’ve been wishing for something like this. It is hard to get things prepared and to decide which skills should be next to prepare… Who needs something yo address there needs theist. Love the ‘bummer’ cards, adds a little edge and excitement for the kids. Most of all , I love the organization of selecting a ‘deck’

First day of year 11 for me!  This is one of my f First day of year 11 for me!
This is one of my favorite verses and such a timely message for my students AND me!
This year my husband and I made the decision to homeschool our first grader. I was NOT thinking I would ever be a "homeschool mama" and I'm still not sure how it will all get done with me working part-time but here I am, praying for strength, and patience, and energy, and discipline, and thinking, "perhaps this is the moment for which I have been created?" 🤗

So if this year is full of uncertainty for you as well, know that He’s ☝️got this and I'm praying for the both of us, that we would shine brightly, and make the most of EVERY moment. 💗
P.S. (Because I know I'll get comments, I work at a private christian school, so I'm totally allowed to put verses on my door!) 🙏🏻
