Today I’m participating in Speech Room News’ “Love it or List it” Linky Party. This party is all about organization-a topic I’m always needing some fresh ideas for! So thanks for hosting, Jenna!
What can a poor therapist do when she runs out of storage space? Make some more! I am currently obsessed with hanging things on my walls. Walls are often under-utilized storage space and this year, I decided to change that. To do this, I’m in love with two products:
1. Velcro. This stuff is great for organizing. I am constantly velcro-ing (is that a word?) all sorts of visuals to my wall. Easy to put on, easy to pull off.
2. Command Hooks. These little guys have saved my life this year. Since I can’t just go around making holes in my walls at work, command hooks make it easy to hang everything.
Here, my clip chart.
I even hang my EET caterpillar with one of these hooks.
To organize all my fun and exciting cards and TPT products, I bought this amazing jewelry organizer. It’s great because the pockets are see-through. With over 60 pockets (front and back), I have plenty of space to store my precious purchases :-). And…it’s hung with a command hook. Yeah, I told you these things are great. That’s about 8 pounds worth of materials hanging on that hook. Can we say A….MAZ….ING?
So…don’t just leave those walls empty-utilize! I hope you were able to discover some new organizing ideas for your walls. Off I go to check in with others’ ideas!
Come as you are. Leave encouraged.
I'd love for you to join my newsletter family so that I can start sending weekly encouragement as well as access to an entire library of free resources like this Student Self-Progress Report Sheet!

August 27, 2013 at 12:04 amI wish I could use my walls. Fire Marshall says only 50% of walls can be covered and that includes what is covered by furniture 🙁 I can have short-term materials up but nothing for days on end. *sigh*

August 27, 2013 at 3:15 amLOVE the jewelry organizer…now another addition to my list of things to buy!!! I am a big fan of using as much space as I can as well. I have loved command hooks since my first day in the schools when they said I couldn’t put nails in the wall and they really don’t chip the paint! Damage free is true!!! Thanks for sharing!!! 🙂
