Yesterday I returned from one of the most exciting conferences I’ve ever attended.
In my state of Ohio (whoot! whoot!), we have a conference every year (OSSPEAC) that is geared specifically for speech language pathologists and audiologists who work in the schools (I know, we’re so blessed!) I was a little busy at the conference this year as I am on the board as secretary for this organization, signed up to be a vendor and also needed my professional development hours. Whew! All went well and I walked away with a lot of great information.
My favorite part? I was finally able to meet these fantastic ladies! Jenna from Speech Room News, Chatterbox Speech and The Buckeye Speech Path are all amazing and creative SLPs and now I have my wish list full again with their products.

At times, people were waiting in line to see our table!
Promoting this way was a huge success. Around 750 people attended the conference and surprisingly around 1/3 of these SLPs had never heard of TPT before. I can only imagine the time-saving, quality resources they will discover on TeachersPayTeachers!
Come as you are. Leave encouraged.
I'd love for you to join my newsletter family so that I can start sending weekly encouragement as well as access to an entire library of free resources like this Student Self-Progress Report Sheet!

This sounds like it was a perfect conference in every way. Funny how those of us who are involved in TPT assume ALL SLP’s have heard of it. What a wonderful marketing opportunity.

It was so much fun to meet you too, Nicole! I was totally impressed with all the roles you were able to juggle while we were there. Thanks for spreading the word! 🙂
Love this post, and I’m so excited for y’all that it went well! I definitely hope to be able to do something similar in the future!
