Today I’m doing something fun and joining Teach Speech 365’s “Speechified Holiday Songs” Linky.
Let me tell you, I’m not usually creative with this sort of thing. However, this week some of my high school students were working on creating their own Christmas song during language arts so guess what we worked on during speech? You guessed it! And…they came up with some pretty unique and original songs! I figured, if they are doing such a great job at it, I can try it!
So…Here is my own little spin-I hope you can relate!
Those two teeth are gone and she wants to flee
She doesn’t know who to blame for this catastrophe!
But her one wish on Christmas Eve is as plain as it can be!
All
she wants for Christmasis their two front teeth,
see their two front teeth!
Gee,
if she could onlyhave their two front teeth,
then we could practice
“Merry Christmas.”
It seems so long since they could say,
“Sister Susie sitting on a thistle!”
Gosh oh gee, how happy she’d be,
if we could practice /s/ and they could see!
All
she wants for Christmasis their two front teeth,
their two front teeth,
see their two front teeth.
Gee, if
they could onlyhave their two front teeth,
then we could wish you
“Merry Christmas!”
Check out the other songs and link up to create your own! Thanks Teach Speech 365!
Come as you are. Leave encouraged.
I'd love for you to join my newsletter family so that I can start sending weekly encouragement as well as access to an entire library of free resources like this Student Self-Progress Report Sheet!
