Spanish Speech and Language Toolkits are now being made available through my shop! This is an area I’ve wanted to expand on and I’m excited to announce that my Preschool and Kindergarten Toolkits are now available in a Spanish version.
These toolkits allow an SLP to Screen, Score and Assess! No Print Screening Option included is included as well to quickly pull up on any tablet or computer to save time. Simply screen, score the student to find out specific areas of strengths and needs, and then go and further assess those areas of needs.
All instructions continue to be in English. All prompts are provided in Spanish. Please note: this screening MUST be provided by a bilingual Spanish-English Speech Language Pathologist. Also note: this material was developed as a screening, and therefore is not considered a comprehensive bilingual assessment. It is not intended to be used as the sole measurement for assessment. This translation was created to focus on bilingual children who speak Latin American Spanish and English. Within Latin American Spanish, there are a large variety of dialects across and within countries. It may be necessary to select alternative stimulus items according to your student’s dialect.
I created this comprehensive toolkit because I needed a thorough Preschool Screening for assessing my students and determining “next steps” in their intervention and RtI process. Often, I would screen a student but then require additional information in a particular area before determining intervention needs. This toolkit contains real-life photos that are easily relatable. Cut-off scores determine whether a student requires additional testing in that particular area.
I’ll continue to add these as they are completed. To check out all of my Spanish Screening Toolkits, please click HERE.
