For a way to incorporate Common Core Standards into your therapy room, try using my Superhero Posters. Debi emailed me some great pictures of how she is using the “I Can” or “I Will” statements as a bulletin board! What better way to show your school how speech and language therapy ISaddressed in the Common Core?! I cannot wait to revamp my bulletin board next year!
What about you? I’d love to hear how you’ve been busy organizing or decorating this season!
Come as you are. Leave encouraged.
I'd love for you to join my newsletter family so that I can start sending weekly encouragement as well as access to an entire library of free resources like this Student Self-Progress Report Sheet!

December 14, 2012 at 2:39 amI have some pictures of my speech room at http://queenspeech.blogspot.com will be posting more on Friday. Trying to come up with crafty decorating ideas is so fun! Love the winter board poll idea! I had students fill up two sticker charts (60 stickers) in order to go to Christmas “party” next week (popcorn party, Christmas themed games from Speech Room News, board games, following directions crafts etc). Next year will have to try this bulletin board idea. Thanks!

December 14, 2012 at 2:06 pmI used your bulletin board idea and my kids loved it! I am quite surprised, though, that cookies are winning by a landslide! I thought for sure that cupcakes would win! Thanks for the inspiration…I think I will keep using this idea (just changing the choices) as my motivator/rewards for therapy! Thank you!
