There are days (I know you have them too) that I think I’m not accomplishing much, my kids aren’t learning and I see no progress. There have been so many changes in education this year that it can be challenging at times. By making an annual report, the numbers are easier to see and this year, I’ve decided to add another area.
1. Accomplishments (Things I’m proud of):
- Started a speech pathology blog, store and facebook page-yay!
- Currently have 2 students that say they would like to be a “speech teachers” when they are older!
- Mentored my first student speech therapist!
- Served as secretary for my state organization
- Attended state conference
- Created and sold materials online and at state conference
- Presented at an in-service
- Was given this from a student who is very self-conscious about her speech. It is her goal for next year.
- And here are some others I received this year for Teacher Appreciation Week (sorry, I have to show off their artwork-I just love my kiddos)!
There are many challenges we are currently facing when we choose to work in a school but I wouldn’t trade them for any other job. I love my kiddos, my job and every aspect of my chosen profession! I hope after reading this you will also take some time to reflect on your year. Don’t forget to download the editable Annual Report HERE!
Come as you are. Leave encouraged.
I'd love for you to join my newsletter family so that I can start sending weekly encouragement as well as access to an entire library of free resources like this Student Self-Progress Report Sheet!
