So if any of you follow my account on Instagram (@nicoleallisonslp), you know I’m attempting to do the Whole 30 diet. 30 days of no dairy, grains, beans…or sugar. I started January 3rd and I’m counting down.
Quite literally.
Every day.
The dairy, grains and beans I could do without. I cry about cheese but I can survive. It’s the sugar that gets me. And this is unfortunate since Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and stores have their shelves stocked with every kind of chocolate imaginable. I feel like the little train that could every time I visit a store. “I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.” Puff, puff, puff.
So anyway, since all I can do is dream of chocolate, I created a fun little freebie I thought of as a “sweet” gift to your articulation students.
I bought up the small (around 3.5 inches) Russell Stover chocolate heart boxes at Walmart. At just $1 a piece, I was able to buy 30 of them.
You can customize it by writing words containing any sound in the chocolate! I also included a little note to put inside as a reminder for students to practice. And don’t forget to reward yourself with a few pieces as well! You can download this freebie HERE.
Come as you are. Leave encouraged.
I'd love for you to join my newsletter family so that I can start sending weekly encouragement as well as access to an entire library of free resources like this Student Self-Progress Report Sheet!
