Hello there!
I just wanted to pop in really quick here to say my Phonological Awareness Articulation Intervention is finally finished! It’s a resource I’ve been pouring into the past 6 months and I’m excited to finally have all 20 sounds completed!
If you bought this at the early bird reduced price, you can go and redownload all 20 sounds for your complete packet. I also threw in some binder spines and table of contents with all sounds listed so you’ll want to snatch that up too!
If you’re just now hearing about this resource, here’s what it’s about in a NUTSHELL:
Studies have determined directly working on phonological awareness skills is also shown to concurrently increase speech intelligibility and improve articulation skills (Gillon, 2005)? So…I took this idea and combined the two approaches. And guess what? My students are REALLY benefitting. They are making progress on both their articulation skills AND their early reading skills! Talk about a win-win!
Phonological Awareness Articulation Intervention
This brand new way of multitasking articulation therapy is extremely effective. In my own sessions, I’ve noticed students make the most progress when the articulation prompts are embedded in other tasks. It pushes them to another level because it is then on the student to locate his sound and produce it correctly, instead of the therapist simply handing him the sound. In this resource, students work on phonological awareness skills without even realizing they are working on articulation and BOTH improve.
Each sound is broken into 4 areas of phonological awareness: Oral, Syllables, Phonemes, Rhyming
You can watch a quick 30 second video on it HERE.
Each sound cost $4, making the entire bundle $80.
I’m extending the low price of $65 for another 48 hours. After that, it will forever be $70. Since it is so large (and backed by research), it might even be a resource you can take up with your department to pay for! (Many have already funded it for their school this way)! Make sure you grab the discounted multiple license price if there will be more than 1 SLP using it.
I am thrilled about this resource (it might just be one of my favorites in my shop) and KNOW you will have great results with your articulation students. Reply back with ANY and ALL questions you might have!
Talk to you soon!
Come as you are. Leave encouraged.
I'd love for you to join my newsletter family so that I can start sending weekly encouragement as well as access to an entire library of free resources like this Student Self-Progress Report Sheet!

January 10, 2019 at 10:25 pmWhat size binders did you use for phonological awareness? Thanks!!!

January 11, 2019 at 1:46 pmIt’s a large one! I think I used a either a 2.5 inch or 3 inch binder here. I’ve also pulled it up on my computer and iPad when I didn’t have the binder with me or wanted to print it all out!

September 29, 2020 at 3:12 pmI’d love to know the logistics of how you’re using this. Are you incorporating it into your entire session? As a warm up? I’m just trying to visualize how best to utilize this amazing resource!

October 13, 2020 at 2:52 pmHi Amy! I do sometimes use it as a warm up or during the entire session during turns of a game, etc. I use it for my articulation kids for intervention (ones receive RtI) and those I do with 5 minute articulation in the hallway (http://speechpeeps.com/2012/10/5-minute-articulation-product-for-rti.html). Please let me know what other questions you have!
