It’s that time again! Time to join the party over at Speech Room News. This month’s topic is Behavior Management-such an important aspect of our jobs! If behaviors can’t be managed, then our kids can’t focus on learning.
For my elementary students, my behavior clip chart is my go-to. I’ve been using it for two years now and my kiddos love it. Best of all, it’s implemented district wide, so it’s nothing new for my students when they walk into my speech room-they have the routine down, which makes my job easier. Don’t worry though, even if you’re the only one using it, the clip chart is a super easy system to implement and perhaps even some of the teachers you work with will love it!
Come as you are. Leave encouraged.
I'd love for you to join my newsletter family so that I can start sending weekly encouragement as well as access to an entire library of free resources like this Student Self-Progress Report Sheet!

August 8, 2014 at 8:18 pmlove your clip chart! I made one today on foam board but am unsure of how you attached the ribbon to the board. Did you cut holes in the foam board? Foam board and “super speechie” part? And if so, with what? Thank you!
