Blink. of. an. eye.
That’s how fast I felt this past year went. This was my 4th year as an SLP and I can relate to those more experienced who say “It goes faster every year.” This year certainly did. Having 6 weeks off for maternity leave didn’t hurt either :).
When I returned this week from maternity, my little sweeties had some presents waiting for me. I just love them!
Cards
Chocolates (Dove-my favorite!)
Baby clothes for Aislyn (from a student’s baby doll)
And…. a painted rock. (painted with love, I’m sure!)
Last week, my kiddos had some fun in their classrooms. Parties, extra recesses and movies were some of the festivities going on around here!
What better way to work on oral language than to use these activities? I know it’s a little late (for those who are in summer already) but I made a freebie for students to work on retelling movies. Better late than never-right? And…if you’re already enjoying summer, you can save it and use it next year. This freebie can be used with all your groups to discuss movies.
Have fun communicating! You can grab up this Freebie HERE. Hurry though, it will only be available for a few weeks!
Come as you are. Leave encouraged.
I'd love for you to join my newsletter family so that I can start sending weekly encouragement as well as access to an entire library of free resources like this Student Self-Progress Report Sheet!
