I have been loving all the great feedback I receive on my Curriculum-Based Language Assessments. It’s one of the most-loved products out there on TPT and that makes me very, very happy :).
However, I made them a few years ago when I first started creating and, as you know, improvement comes with practice. I knew I wanted to change the look of them to make them easier to work with and also to include even more areas to assess. I spent around 10 hours this weekend perfecting them and I just know you are going to like the result!
Let me show what I mean with the kindergarten assessment:
They went from this:
To this:
These assessments are literally crammed full of information-I simply could not fit any more!
They also now include a standard checklist of all the areas covered by the assessment that you print on the back to periodically re-evaluate students’ skills.
AND….now each assessment comes with it’s own student handout for them to refer to!
I am just now printing them all off to gather some data on my students over the long summer break. If you already purchased them, make sure to download the new versions for FREE!
They are updated in both K-5 and 6-12 Versions
Have fun communicating!
Come as you are. Leave encouraged.
I'd love for you to join my newsletter family so that I can start sending weekly encouragement as well as access to an entire library of free resources like this Student Self-Progress Report Sheet!

August 27, 2014 at 11:02 pmWow, these 2 products were already my favorite, “go to” informal assessments for preparing for annual reviews, and now they are even better! I have told many of the therapists in my district about these products, and they have also purchased them and rave about them! Thank you for this amazing update.
