If you’re on Pinterest, you may have seen this adorable pin floating around. Apparently, no one can find it’s original owner, so if you’re out there, please let me know!
What student doesn’t recognize the famous ipods AND have fun posing to be on them?!? I also loved the idea of incorporating technology into a bulletin board as a way introduce my students. So…I went about this last week of turning the iRead bulletin board into an iSpeak board (speechie style). 🙂
If you’re thinking of making your own, I highly recommend buying this adorable iPod clip art set by Deanna Roth.
These come with transparent backgrounds so you can easily insert your students’ photos behind the iPods. Some of the silly faces they made crack me up!
I also created an iSpeak sign, which you can do by googling the apple symbol for your own classroom.
The result has been a fantastic board to remind students and staff that we do indeed, speak and communicate.
Come as you are. Leave encouraged.
I'd love for you to join my newsletter family so that I can start sending weekly encouragement as well as access to an entire library of free resources like this Student Self-Progress Report Sheet!

I love your ideas, and this is just one more that I love. unfortunately I can’t use this idea. We cannot post student pictures outside our speech/therapy room.
In my state we are not allowed to even post that our room is the Speech/language room. My name is on the the door, however I cannot say “Speech/language Pathologist”. This is to protect the confidentiality of the students, state regulations, HIPPA.
Is this the case in other states?
Thanks so much! We had a lot of fun with it. Hmm….that is unfortunate. My name is posted outside my door along with my title of Speech Language Pathologist. I think it’s important that people know what we do, as well as other students! I wish it were so for you as well!
So cute. It turned out great!
Thank you! The kids love looking at themselves in the hallway 🙂
