I believe in prayer. Not only have I’ve witnessed its amazing power but I also feel comfort that the buck doesn’t stop with me. I can work all day (and all night) for my precious students and yet there are times that they still need more. This is when I need surrender some control and simply pray.
I was reminded this year that some of my kiddos:
- Can’t wait to come back to school after summer break because it’s the only time they feel loved.
- Often times, school is where they have the most access to food.
- Are truly only heard at school.
- May view school as their safest place.
I created this little reminder for myself to pray for a specific area each and every day at work (sorry my finger made it into the picture!)
I hope you’ll also take some time before the start of each day and pray for those little students that are about to enter your room. He can handle so much more than I can. Here’s a freebie with 4 different designs if you could use your own reminder (fits in a 5×7 frame).
You can download this Freebie HERE!
Come as you are. Leave encouraged.
I'd love for you to join my newsletter family so that I can start sending weekly encouragement as well as access to an entire library of free resources like this Student Self-Progress Report Sheet!
