Who says your articulation kids can’t also benefit from increasing their language skills?!
Now you can work on both articulation AND language simultaneously in your groups!
I needed this. Sometimes, even with the best schedule, it impossible not to group together articulation and language students. These groups can be challenging. Often, I felt like I was neglecting my articulation students when working on language and vice versa. I created these cards so that I could work simultaneously on both language for those mixed groups, as well as challenge my articulation students by boosting their vocabulary!
This packet includes 192 context clue cards using carefully chosen Tier 2 Vocabulary words (words occurring most frequently in our language and text). For more information on Vocabulary Tiers, please download the preview. The words are then arranged and colored by sound (primarily in the initial position of words).
In this packet, you receive:
Make sure to download the preview on TPT to receive a free /k/ sound set!

September 16, 2015 at 5:54 amThis is one of the most innovative products I have seen! This will truly help my students work on speech AND language skills simultaneously! It would be great for a mixed group of students in that it would be easy to target goals and that my groups could use the same materials- turn taking with the cards for ADDED pragmatics work, too! 🙂 I would definitely use this throughout the year in therapy, as well as post the words already discussed on one of the walls in my therapy room for students to refer to. LOVE THIS!

September 16, 2015 at 12:50 pmThis looks like a wonderful product to use with my upper elementary students – especially with my mixed groups! It would be nice to be able to group all my artic. or all my language students together, but that’s not reality. This product nicely addresses both needs.

September 16, 2015 at 4:26 pmLove these because I feel that for many of my articulation students, articulation isn’t my most pressing concern. This would allow me to address some of those other language concerns while still working on articulation.

September 16, 2015 at 7:04 pmThis is great! I am not able to group my kiddos as precisely as I would like to and this will really help! As much as I try, it can get pretty difficult to meet their needs equally in small group! Thanks for working hard to make our lives easier! It’s truly appreciated!
