September 15, 2015 at 12:06 pmI missed your data session. Will you be running it again? Also, are you aware of any IEP goal banks that you might recommend?

September 16, 2015 at 1:17 amYour Periscope on data was timely with the start of the school year and full of great tips/ideas for data collection that is meaningful. Also thank you for the sale on your data binder! I am excited to use it and follow the tips that you shared. I hope you continue to do the Periscopes! From the comments on Periscope it sounded like goal writing might be a good one to tackle next.

October 5, 2015 at 5:36 pmJust a quick question, as I haven’t had an opportunity to watch the periscope session. When using the synonyms, antonyms, homophones data, how do you differentiate between Level 1 and Level 2? In other words, what is the difference between your Level 1 and Level 2 lists other than that the Level 2 words are higher level vocabulary/more complex? Just trying to figure out how to “explain it” to a parent, as the student did fine on Level 1 but not Level 2.

October 6, 2015 at 1:53 pmHi Tanya,
You won’t be able to watch the periscope, as it is only available for 24 hours. I just explain to parents that level one words are typically easier so their child is doing great with these but as the word level increases, they have difficulty so these are the words you’ll want to target (both at home and at school). I feel like the level one words can give my students (and parents) some encouragement if they are doing well with these. It’s always nice to give some positive feedback!

October 22, 2015 at 8:34 pmThank you for responding 🙂 Yes, that is pretty much exactly how I explained it to parents (just now read your response today). Thanks again!
