This week has been Busy, (with a capital “B”), am I right? Even though it’s a short week for most of us, it always seems like there is so, SO much to do around this time of year.
If you didn’t catch it, I blogged over on Speech to the Core this week about my crazy, ever-revolving life and even gave a few tips on how do the most when working from home.
I also made a new product that can target both articulation AND language at the same time. I absolutely love it with my caseload and we whipped out the one on snow this week (because, yes, unfortunately it did snow).
So…back to the title of the post. “What IS a flipmark?” you may ask? Well, it’s only the newest, most popular, all-the-rage concept in speech therapy! Actually….I made this term up when I needed a quick take-home practice idea for some of the students on my caseload. A functional bookmark sparked into my mind, based off of my Flipbooks I made at the beginning of the year and I have to admit, I love them and my students do too!
These fun flipmarks are created entirely in black and white (for easy printing) and take minutes to print and assemble. With these take-home bookmarks, students can target the sound in isolation, words, phrases, sentences and paragraphs while they are “bored” in study hall or riding home on the bus.
Currently I have the packs for /k/ and /g/ , /f/ and /v/ and /s/, /z/ and /s/ blend made and am selling them for only $1 per sound. Check back soon (very soon) for more sound packs! My goal is to have all the sounds made by mid-December!
Come as you are. Leave encouraged.
I'd love for you to join my newsletter family so that I can start sending weekly encouragement as well as access to an entire library of free resources like this Student Self-Progress Report Sheet!

November 26, 2015 at 6:04 amAlison, I love this idea! Am I able to edit them? I would like to be able to change the words or blends based on phonological awareness targets too. Thanks!
