I just released a No Print Version of my Leveled Intervention (Vocabulary edition) and am in the process of creating No-Print versions for the Grammar and Reading Comprehension Binders as well. Because the No-Print work a bit differently, I thought I’d give a step-by-step tutorial here. 🙂
- These No Print resources are compatible with any tablet, computer, even Smart Board! You don’t have to have an “iPad” to access the features.
- I use Apple’s “iBooks” to mark up the document. This is a free feature of iPads, even iphones. Other apps also work such as Notability (around $9.99).
- You may use your finger to access all the buttons, draw, and write on the resource. If you’re looking for a stylus, I use THIS ONE (affiliate link). I have an iPad mini and use THIS CASE (I thought I’d include that, since I get asked about it, and again, this is an affiliate link).
Okay, so if you’ve purchased the No Print Binders, here’s how you can open it and use it in iBooks (look for the blue markups on the images).
- First, download the resource on your computer
2. One it is downloaded, press the upload button at the top.
3. Click “Copy to Books” (you might need to scroll through more options here)
4. Once you click “Copy to Books,” the “Books” app will open and you will see the No Print resource there. Click on it to open. You’ll want to go to page 4 to navigate the Table of Contents. Simply click on any section to be taken to that section.
5. Each page has 3 navigation buttons on them. To go to the previous page, click “BACK.” To go to the Main Table of Contents page, click “HOME.” To go to the next page, click “NEXT.”
6. To use the pen and marker tools, click the “pen” icon at the top of the page. Click it again to turn it off.
Come as you are. Leave encouraged.
I'd love for you to join my newsletter family so that I can start sending weekly encouragement as well as access to an entire library of free resources like this Student Self-Progress Report Sheet!
