That first week in speech is so very important, don’t you think? It really sets the tone for how the rest of the year is going to go. I’m sure you have already starting thinking of ideas you could do with your students but I wanted to share this very meaningful one. It’s a Speech Bracelet all of my students make to give them an idea of what communication really is. It also helps explain why they might be working on the /l/ sound while their partner is working on naming opposites.
If you missed my Facebook Live video on what it all includes, you can head there now. This little bracelet template is included in my First Week in Speech packet which contains tons of stuff that helps that first week go smoothly. However, I’m also giving the bracelet activity away to my special newsletter family. Make sure you’re signed up by going HERE so you can receive an entire library of free resources.
Happy first week!
Come as you are. Leave encouraged.
I'd love for you to join my newsletter family so that I can start sending weekly encouragement as well as access to an entire library of free resources like this Student Self-Progress Report Sheet!

I was so excited to see your cc standards for the upper grades but……I am specifically seeking pragmatic standards for these kiddos. Do you happen to have those too or could you possibly steer me in the direction of someone who might.
Thank you,
Tina
