New Resource Posted!
If you’ve been following me over on Instagram (@nicoleallisonslp), you might know that I’ve been working on sorting through the content standards specifically to target goals for my students performing under them. The kids were gone for the night and I cranked out the finishing touches to get this posted this weekend!
These Speech and Language Goal Extensions function sort of like a roadmap for those students currently performing much lower than the grade-level standard.
Speech and Language goals are written three different ways, from least complex to most complex, leading up to the standard it addresses.
So, for example on the page below, say you want to target “context clues” from the CCSS standard Language 4 but your student isn’t performing at that level yet. You could begin at level 1 (in the middle, on the left) and work toward the standard listed.
It took me quite a bit of time sorting through all the context standards (based on the CCSS) but I know it will be SO helpful come this IEP season. You can check it out here and please me know what you think!
Come as you are. Leave encouraged.
I'd love for you to join my newsletter family so that I can start sending weekly encouragement as well as access to an entire library of free resources like this Student Self-Progress Report Sheet!
