Tomorrow night I am boarding a plane and flying down to Orlando.
This was us yesterday:
I sat on my couch enjoying a snow day, watching movies and drinking hot cocoa.
Tomorrow I will be in 70 degree Florida weather. It will be my first time flying alone, and I’ll admit it, I’m a little nervous. Any tips? If you happen to see me at the airport looking like a lost puppy, please come help me!
I am feeling so excited to be one of 11 bloggers that will be at Booth 1359. PLEASE come stop by and chat with me-I want to meet you!!!
We will be having tons of neat prizes and giveaways starting on Wednesday! Check out ashaslpbloggers.blogspot.com for a list of all the exciting prizes.
As for me, I’ll be passing out some of my business cards…
But I also wanted to come up with a giveaway that I know SLPs will use. My husband actually thought of these sound cards (bless him!) There are 9 cards total with /r/ sounds in the initial, medial and final positions.
So….guess what we spent the entire weekend doing? We assembled all 500 of these little guys (that’s right-Five Zero Zero). Actually it was more like 9 x 500…well, you get the idea.
Now I just need to figure out a way to transport them there. 🙂
Stop by Booth 1359 to chat with me, enter giveaways and pick up a free /r/ deck! I CANNOT wait to meet you!
Come as you are. Leave encouraged.
I'd love for you to join my newsletter family so that I can start sending weekly encouragement as well as access to an entire library of free resources like this Student Self-Progress Report Sheet!

November 18, 2014 at 2:35 pmHave a great trip and a wonderful conference. When I have to travel alone, I take a good book with me. One I have wanted to read for a long time. That way I get so involved in reading my book that I forget to be nervous and that I am alone. Always works for me.
